String Doll Vivi the Goldfish

This bab is now the doll that took the longest time solely because of the spots on her, THEY TOOK ROUGHLY ALMOST 2 HOURS ALONE!! They were hand sewn into the base and i even managed to break a needle somehow, don't ask how cuz i don't even know ;u;
And the fins were a pain in the butt too since the first set i sewed on her were too small... mermer


Anyways tho, this is Vivi~! I took a shot at making a fish for fun, the prototype was longer and not as fat, then I made this one a day after... I'd say there was an improvement XD
I was going to use felt for her fins but the prototypes were really stiff and i wanted them to floop over. Now she just rolls around whenever i set her down~!




Materials

~ White yarn
~ Red, yellow and orange Embroidery thread (for her spots)
~ Pipecleaner (to wrap the yarn for the base)
~ Black beads
~ Old thin white shirt (for the fins)


Measurments

~ Length 14cm (from head to tip of the tailfin)
~ Front Fins 5cm
~ Back Fins 4cm
~ The back fin 2cm tall, 3 1/2cm long
