Metsa Reference (Gai Dan)

Sooooo this is my new bby~
His name is Metsa and he was a prize of sorts for helping to name the species he comes from!

Not much is known yet about these creatures so I took some assumptions and did my best to give him his features that I think would be on him
 IzaPug if what I did doesn't fit what you see in this species I will change it immediately, I only did what i did in hopes that I did relate to what a Gai Dans traits would be  ;u;




So to explain a few things in hopes I got it right, here's a lay down

~Since his species is known to be a guardian of sorts and his figure is in resemblance to both a fox and a deer, i gave him his foods with a mix of both fruits and twigs which deer eat, and fish maybe for the winter time, and thats why he has canine teeth and grinding molars. I would guess such guardians could be omnivores so looking for food wouldn't be so hard to do and gives him a variety to keep up his guardian duties idunno

~I assume he has ears but since he doesn't have traditional ears like us and most animals, I guess he had owl ears where the feathers cover their "ear holes", in Metsa's case its his fur :3

~Since his neck is so thick i think, as a personal quirk of his, would be that his shoulder fur kinda bunches up a bit and makes it more ruffled looking ;u;  




NOW FOR METSA'S PERSONALITY 

Metsa is a calm and collected Gai Dan that wanders his forest that he guards and keeps any intruders out that wish to harm the balance of the woods. He has a soft sot for baby animals and will try to help a baby that has been orphaned to find a new mother in order for then to survive. He controls the carnivores of the forest to make sure they don't collide in the wrong areas and create an imbalance. He really likes fish and will often be spotted by the rivers and streams hunting them, but will love you if you find him apples c:
